The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio met Tuesday September 10th, 2024, 6 PM, in the Alumni Room on the campus of Wittenberg University, with 13 members, Jill, Tim, Karen S., Karen H, Alan, Jim and Carol S., Andy, Don, Larry, Bev, Joy, Peg, and one guest present. Guest Speaker was Nicole Patch, Executive Director, Pregnancy Resource Center. Nicole reported that the PRC is in its 37th year providing services such as Parenting Classes, Pregnancy Testing and Ultrasound, and a Decision Guide for those uncertain about having a child. PRC averages abut 2,000 clients per year, average age 19 – 24 years of age. They never turn people away and there is no charge for any service. There are 40 volunteers who assist the small staff. Executive Director Patch accepted a Foundation donation of $500 from Club Board Member Joy Dabe.
