Wayne J. Smith of the Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio received the Lifetime Achievement Award from District President Mary Borer, at the District Convention at Bowling Green State University Saturday May 21st, 2016. Wayne attended the Awards Banquet with wife Dorothy and son Mike, who were also Exchangites.
Wayne has been a member of the Exchange Club of Springfield for 42 years and has served in many positions of authority including three times as President, as Distinguished Club Secretary, and as a Board of Director member for many years. Mr. Smith chaired many committees over the years, but is especially known for the club’s “Kid’s Day at the Clark County Fair” project.
