The Exchange Club of Springfield once again provided an enduring symbol of freedom, our National Flag, to more than 8,200 spectators at the Springfield and Clark County Memorial Day Parade, May 30th, 2016. Thanks to Don Lynam for ordering and storing the flags prior to the event, and the following Exchangites who distributed the eagerly sought after Colors. They are, Rob Pollock, Mark Sullivan, Fred Fox, Jerry Sewell, Jennifer Ulery-Smith, Greg and Madee, Alan Peczkowski, Andy Kittles with Susan and Abbey, Larry Sewell, and Nate Ashcraft. We were fantastically supported by a squadron of Officer Nate’s DARE Kids who distributed flags with energy and enthusiasm. An estimated 15,000 people lined the streets under a brilliant blue sky.
