The Exchange Club of Springfield met for its regularly schedule evening meeting at Oesterlen Services Tuesday October 11th, 2016. We toured the “farm” and were entertained by the goats, chickens, rabbits etc. The animals are used as a therapy tool for some of the clients. We also toured the shop room and were greatly impressed by the Therapy Garden built largely by the clients, and the plants and flowers lovingly tended by them. The turkeys had already been sent out to be prepared for their rendezvous with destiny on the fourth Thursday of November…
Oesterlen provided a great buffet dinner for us and we presented a donation from our Foundation for $250 to help with their work. We were very impressed with the organization and their professionalism!
Our President-Elect, Jerry Sewell, presented the donation to Pastor Kinnuman, and Director Don Warner.
