The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of its Charter in the National Exchange Club with a Banquet on Tuesday October 5, 2021, 6 PM, at the beautiful and historic Simon Kenton Inn. The Keynote Speaker is Russ Finney, the Immediate Past President of the National Exchange Club.
Through its current Programs of Service, which were adopted in 1965 by the National Exchange Club, the Exchange Club of Springfield honors its mission of; “Inspiring Communities to be better places to live.” Program categories include, Youth, Americanism, Community Service, and The National Exchange Club Project – The Prevention of Child Abuse, which was adopted in 1979.
The Exchange Club of Springfield Foundation provides funding for the club’s projects. Each year the club reports some 40 to 50 projects to National. The club’s annual donation and project budget is approximately $40,000, which is provided from the interest of the Exchange Club of Springfield Foundation. The Foundation was created from a donation by the late Fred Dillon of Springfield, who was a member of the Springfield club from 1957 until his death in 2002.
