The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio met Tuesday January 11th, 2022, Noon, at the Wittenberg University BPSC- Alumni Room, with 11 members and 8 guests present. Chair Karen Sullivan presented the first four Youths of the Month. The club welcomed Eric Goddard from Global Impact STEM Academy, Laynee Mowell from Shawnee HS, Ryan Goss from Tecumseh HS. and Brennan Patterson from Northeastern HS. Each student received a Youth of the Month Certificate of Achievement and a stipend of $100 from the Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio Foundation. The students will be vying for the Youth of the Year Award through an essay contest, the winner of which will receive a $1,000 college scholarship. The club will continue with the Youth of the Month/Year Project at its meetings on January 25th and February 8th, 2022, with the next eight participating high school seniors.
