The Exchange Club of Springfield Ohio, met Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Noon, at the Benham-Pence Student Center Alumni Room on the campus of Wittenberg University, with 12 members and 6 guests present. Our guests were participants in the National Exchange Club’s Student of the Month/Year Program. The students and counselors were; From Kenton Ridge Kama Ramsey, with counselor Edie Young, from Shawnee Makenna Cox Moore with counselor Melinda Shong, and from Catholic Central William Baron with counselor Amber Kinard. Each student received a stipend of $ 100, a Youth of the Month Certificate, and the opportunity to compete for the club’s $1,000 scholarship and the title, Youth of the Year! The winner will compete at the District level for an additional $1,000 scholarship, and if successful, be submitted to national competition, and the chance to win the $15,000 scholarship and the title of the National Exchange Club Youth of the Year.
