The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio met Tuesday May 23, 2023, 6 PM, at COhatch 101 S. Fountain Ave, in downtown Springfield with 13 members and two guests present. Guest Speaker was Ryan Ray, Director of Development, Salvation Army. Ryan spoke about the origins of the Salvation Army in England and the “war” between the Army and an army created in large part by merchants of “vice”, in those days pubs and purveyors of tobacco. Ryan spoke about the Summer Camp they hold for disabled children annually. Ryan is pictured accepting a $1,000 Foundation donation for the camp from club President Mark Sullivan.
