The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio participated once again in the Give-A-Kid-A-Flag-To-Wave Project at the Springfield Memorial Day Parade. The parade is one of the largest in Ohio with 200 vehicles of all types and 1700 participants. It was another tremendous success. Ten Exchange Club Members and 4 auxiliary members distributed 5,000 flags in 70 minutes to kids of all ages along the Parade Route, to many smiles and expressions of “thanks”. Thank you so much to, Alan, Andy, Mark S, Mark L, Karen L, Peg, Karen S., Skip W, Karen H, Larry S and to our great “Auxiliary Exchange Members”, Susan, Abbey, Nick, and Ann, always a big help! Thanks to JIm and Carol Suddath who piloted our “float” in the Parade. Unity for Service! Let’s do it again next year!
