Ten Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio members met at Tuttle Road for the NDS project Adopt-A-Highway cleanup. Seven bags of litter were collected by the chilled champions of cleanliness as the effort began with an air temperature of 39 degrees. Old Sol did a great job and within minutes the temperature climbed and the teams enjoyed a great walk. This year’s weather was much superior to last year’s cold rain. Many hands make the work light, so after only 58 minutes, the task was completed. Afterwards five members met for a brunch and brag session. Thanks to Skip, Mark S., Tim, Jill, Mark L, Karen L, Karen H., Larry, Laura, and Dave for earning the National Day of Service patch for the club’s banner. Chair Andy cheered from home as he recovers from work on a wonky wing. Unity for Service!
