Members of the Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio met at the offices of the Second Harvest Food Bank December 3, 2024 on Giving Tuesday. The club held its 5th annual ‘Fighting Hunger’ Golf Scramble Fundraiser in May. Many thanks to club members who helped make the scramble such a success, to event Chair Andy Kittles, and especially to all those golfers who will help so many! Your generous support resulted in a donation of $3,800 which will be DOUBLED to $7,600 with the matching gift by Mercy Health – Springfield & Urbana. Each dollar donated equates to 2 meals, so the donation will provide 15,200 meals to neighbors in need across Clark, Logan, and Champaign County! Thank you for supporting hunger relief in our communities!
The club was represented by club President Skip Warner, Immediate Past President Mark Sullivan, Secretary Beverly Sewell, and Golf Scramble Chair Andy Kittles. Representing the Exchange Club Foundation of Springfield, Ohio were President Larry Sewell and Treasurer Don Lynam.
