The Homes for Heroes Fundraiser a great success this year, raising $4,553.28 to send to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation! The Exchange Club of Springfield and the Exchange Club of Dayton combined forces for the second annual fundraiser to provide the down payment for homeless veteran’s housing needs. Many, many thanks those who sent in checks, donated prizes, purchased raffle tickets, and to the Dayton Exchange Club Foundation who donated $1,000. Special thanks to Chair Carol S. and the Homes for Heroes Fundraising Committee, Jim S, Andy K, Karen H., Mike T, Skip, Larry, Peg, and from Dayton Exchange Ted G, Bill W, Khadijah, and Mike G. Thanks to Ken from the Masonic wood shop, Noah from the HH Cub Scout Pack, Dan the trumpeter, MSG McGill and JrROTC SPFLD HS Marine Color Guard, Al from Honor Flight, and all the folks at the Veterans Administration and Tunnels to Towers Foundation, who have pledged to keep the funding local.
