Congratulations to the 2026 Youth of the Year Andrew Grieser from Northwestern High School. First Runner-up is Mila Trulock from Kenton Ridge High School. The Second Runner-up is Avery Thorpe from Greenon High School.
The Accepting the Challenge of Excellence college scholarship contest winner is Precious Bibbs from Global Impact STEM Academy. The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio presented the awards at Wittenberg’s Shouvlin Center during a banquet in their honor.
The students, nominated by their Counselors from among twelve Clark County high schools, have achieved high levels of academic and extracurricular excellence throughout their high school careers, typically ranking at the top of their class. Their applications, including an essay, were voted on by members of the Springfield Exchange Club.
The winners of the A.C.E. Award and the Youth of the Year Award each receive, from the Exchange Club Foundation of Springfield, Ohio, a $1,000 college scholarship to the school of their choice. The First Runner-up Youth of the Year will receive a $750 scholarship, and the Second Runner-up will receive a $500 scholarship.
The A.C.E. and Youth of the Year will also be entered into the OH-West Virginia District contest with the opportunity to compete against the 24 other District club’s candidates for its $1,500 college scholarships. The winner of the District will be entered into the National Exchange Club’s A.C.E. and Youth of the Year contest and the chance at the $15,000 college scholarship offered, to be presented at the National Convention in July, this year in Omaha, Nebraska.
