Clark County Fair Youth Day! – Fifteen Springfield Exchange Members and two Tigers met at the Clark County Fairgrounds for our club’s 76th Annual Kid’s Games on Youth Day. The Pre-Game luncheon was an eclectic blend of delectable Fair food, not good for us perhaps but good, nonetheless. Southeastern High School graduate Kylie Corbitt, Clark County Fair Queen, opened the games with majestic flair! The weather was great, sunny, and warm, but with a nice breeze. There were about 150 or so kids ages 5 – 16 to entertain and smoothly went the afternoon! The foot races of 25, 50, and 75 yards, the 25 yard sack races, the 25 yard Egg on the Spoon races, and the Old Fashioned Egg Toss, are classic favorites. Who had more fun, Exchange Members or the kids, is an unanswerable question! Thanks to Mark S., Larry, Scott, Skip, Kolton, Jackie, Carin, Janet, Melissa, Terry, Peg, Karen H., Karen L.
