The Exchange Club of Springfield welcomed Carlisa Parker, the new Director of Clark County Child Advocacy Center to its regularly scheduled Noon Meeting on Tuesday October 24th, 2017, at the Wittenberg Student Center. The Director spoke on the continuing efforts on behalf of at risk youth in the county. Nearly 300 cases of child abuse or neglect have occurred in Clark County in 2017. Many of the cases stem from adults who are abusing drugs or alcohol, or both.
