The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio, participated in the National Day of Service by honoring our commitment to keep the Tuttle Road area clear of refuse and litter.  For many years members have met on the last Saturday of October in order to beautify our Adopted road.  Exchangite Andy Kittles is Chairman of the committee and with materials from the CC Solid Waste Department, six intrepid Exchangites braved the cold, snowy conditions and got about 90 minutes of exercise while performing this community service.  The load was a little lighter than usual.  Perhaps folks are not littering as much as heretofore.  The Exchangites then repaired to a local restaurant for a victory brunch. Thanks to Peg Haemmerle, Jerry Sewell, Dan Gallagher, Mark Sullivan, Larry Sewell, and Andy Kittles.  NDoS patch is well earned once more!
