The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio, welcomed Leann Castillo, Executive Director of National Trail Park District Tuesday August 25, 2026, 6 PM at the Tuttle Rd branch of the CCPL. Leann spoke of the unfortunate results of a failed levy and a $300,000 budget deficit, resulting in the elimination of Park Rangers. The local constabularies will patrol the parks in their absence. Leann accepts a $250 Foundation donation, (which will be used ro help sponsor the Harvest Hoopla featuring the Freaky Forest Trail with spooky thrills for kids 12 and up on October 9th at George Rogers Clark Park), from President-Elect Kolton Rice.
