The Exchange Club of Springfield welcomed Regina Burke from CASA at its regularly scheduled Tuesday Noon meeting at the Shouvlin Center on the campus of Wittenberg University.  Regina accepted a donation of $1,000 from our Foundation from Exchangite Melissa Baker.

The mission of the CASA Program is to advocate for abused and neglected children who have cases pending in the juvenile court system. CASAs provide representation to abused, neglected and dependent children in the juvenile court by speaking to the best interests of the children and providing information to the Court so that it may make better informed decisions on behalf of the children.

CASA Volunteers are trained to investigate research, report, and monitor a child’s case as it moves through the juvenile court system.
