Deb McCullough from On-The-Rise accepts a $1,250 donation from our Foundation from Foundation Secretary Bev Sewell.
Located in a unique country setting on an eight acre farm just outside of Springfield, Ohio, On-The-Rise serves at-risk youth in Clark County struggling with family, social, educational, and behavioral issues.
Our caring staff offers activities promoting responsibility, compassion, work ethic and positive self-image. On a daily basis children and teens cook, clean, care for animals, sew and garden. Tutors provided by the Wittenberg Community Service Program are available to help with homework.
On-The-Rise is funded through the Clark County Department of Job and Family Services, the Springfield Foundation, the Turner Foundation, and support from other community resources and fundraisers.
