The Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio honored the final Youth of the Month Project selections as outstanding local high school Seniors at its regularly scheduled Noon meeting on the campus of Wittenberg University on Tuesday February 5, 2019. Alison Bachowski from Emmanuel Christian and Northwestern High School’s Jacob Bills each accepted a $100 honorarium and once again we were amazed by the opportunities today that these students have taken advantage of. We will soon receive and vote on the best essay submitted by the students and select the 2018-19 Youth of the Year! Thanks to all the great Guidance Counselors who help the students to follow their dreams of the future! Thanks to Youth of the Month/Year co-chairs Teresa Metzger and Peg Haemmerle for their fine work coordinating with the twelve local high schools to facilitate this great Youth program!
