The Exchange Club of Springfield met Tuesday February 11, 2020, Noon,  at the Wittenberg University Benham-Pence Student Center Alumni Room, for the third and final installment of four area high school students and the Youth of the Month/ Year Project. The students are (L-R) Kyle Ewing from Catholic Central, Kyla Tuttle from Southeastern, Andrea Meeks from Shawnee, and Tuhin Patel from Springfield.

Each student was presented with a personalized Youth of the Month Certificate as well as a stipend of $100.  The students are encouraged to enter the Youth of the Year essay contest.  The winner of that contest will receive a $1,000 college scholarship from the Exchange Club of Springfield Foundation.  First and Second Runner-ups will be awarded a $500 and $250 college scholarship respectively.  The winner will also be entered in the Ohio-West Virginia District Youth of the Year contest.  The selected student will receive a $1,000 college scholarship from the District presented at the District convention in Fremont, Ohio in May. The District winner will be entered in the National Exchange Club Youth of the Year contest.  The National winner will receive a $15,000 college scholarship that will be awarded at the National Convention in Colorado Springs in July 2020.
