From our National President, Russ Finney, West Chester, Ohio
“It’s the National Exchange Club’s 109th Birthday today. We will be remembering and celebrating the many years of service to our communities. Charles Berkey, our founder, would be proud of all we accomplished I’m sure. Our national project today is the Prevention of Child Abuse but in the beginning it was promoting Aviation. From the Wright Flyer to jets, aviation has always been an innovative force in this country. Exchange Clubs continue to seek out innovative ways to serve and will always be an inspirational force as well in the United States and Puerto Rico.”
The National Exchange Club today has some 19,000 members in approximately 650 clubs, was founded in 1911 in Detroit, Michigan.
