The Exchange Club of Springfield met Tuesday October 13, 2020, at Noon. Our Guest Speakers were Amanda McCarty and Don Warner from Oesterlen Services for Youth, Inc. The Exchange Club Foundation has sent a donation of $750 to assist them in their good works. This was our first in-person meeting since February due to the pandemic.
Oesterlen Services for Youth, Inc. is committed to serving children and families in need. Ms. McCarty described the adaptations that the organizations made to continue to serve its clients via virtual counseling and other means.
The campus has had no instances as yet of Covid-19, due to the procedures and processes that were implemented many years ago.
Outpatient counseling center for youth and families, offering individual, group, and family behavioral health counseling, in multiple programs, on the Oesterlen campus and on-site in area schools.
Their Life Skills Center is rooted in the work of creating a place for at-risk youth to learn new skills, create opportunities for community integration, and seek whole family well-being.
