On Sunday May 1, 2022, the Springfield Exchange Club held it’s third annual Golf Scramble. Chair Andy reported an awesome day was had by all, as about 80 golfers navigated winds and tall tales as they tackled the beautiful Locust Hills course. Marshmallows exploded and drives were scrutinized. Many catcalls, oohs, and ahhs, were heard, and that was just in the clubhouse! The food was superb and it was truly a great day! Thanks to Chair Andy, Susan, Peg, Karen, Mark, Beverly, Mark, Karen, Alan, Herb, Nancy, and Jerry for working the games, providing water and snacks to the heroic duffers, and oh what prizes were won and prodigious drives recorded. All in the clubhouse agreed, “Let’s do it again next year!”. Special thanks to the staff at Locust Hills Golf Course!
