Chair Karen reports that club members met at Oesterlen, 8 AM, Friday May 24th, 2024, and the bottle cap project is wrapping up! Many thanks to Jerry & Larry Sewell, Mike Taylor, Tim Parker, Skip Warner, and Mark & Karen Lotz who went above and beyond to remove approximately 90% of the bottle caps and lids from Oesterlen. We loaded almost 2 ton of caps and lids onto 3 trucks, a Tahoe, and a 16′ trailer. It was a safe journey to Dayton as the guys did an excellent job in loading the trailer and securing the boxes. Nothing was lost along the way. It was a very labor-intensive job but we got through it. Thank you to all who helped. Awesome job!!
