Exchange Club of Springfield, Ohio members distributed information to parents regarding Cyber Awareness and Security, Anti-Bullying, and Prevention of Child Abuse at the August 8th, 2024 National Night Out in Veterans Park on a very hot evening. The club also provided youngsters with a coloring book themed, ‘The police are our friends,’ and a ‘Junior Police Badge.’ The event was well attended, and the rain held off until all was packed away. The many vendors provided all one could eat, and there were games with prizes galore. The dunking machine had many envious vendors wishing to be submerged… The highlight of the evening being the bicycle raffle, with dozens of free two and three wheelers for the youngsters. The Springfield Police Division outdid themselves this year! Many thanks to Project Chair Larry, Skip, Karen and Mark L, Karen H, Carin L, and Mark and Karen S. The Springfield Club members were joined by members of the Tigers Exchange Club of Clark County. Many thanks to Tigers Matt, Paris, Jordan, Jason, and Lasher, who distributed their fair share of the materials. Unity for Service!
