Clark County Fuller Center for Housing visits Exchange

August 7, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$10

We will meet at Wittenberg’s Shouvlin Center, Room 207, Noon, Tuesday August 7, 2018.  Our guest speaker will be Kermit Rowe, Executive Director of the Clark county Fuller Center for Housing.

The Clark County Fuller Center for Housing’s mission is to make homeowners out of hard-working, low-income families, many of which have probably already given up on the American Dream of home ownership. They are currently seeking a deserving family for a home in the St. Bernard Catholic Church area. If you know of someone who longs to own their own home but has never gotten their big break, have them call  (937) 325-2514 for more information.
At the Clark County Fuller Center for Housing (CCFCH), we build or remodel simple, decent, energy efficient homes in partnership with families who meet three basic criteria:

1. Need: Currently live in substandard housing; this could be anything from a leaky roof to overcrowded conditions,

2. Ability to Pay: Total household income falls between 30%-80% of HUD’s Median Income for Clark County, OH, and

3. Willingness to Partner: Each adult in the family must work 250 hours on Fuller Center projects. In most cases, upon completion, each house is purchased by the partner family from CCFCH with a no-interest mortgage loan.
