DESCRIPTION:The Exchange Club of Springfield\, Ohio will present the Book of Golden Deeds Award to and “Unsung Hero” in our community at a Banquet this evening in their honor. This year we honor not one but two.  Kathryn Howard\, nominated by the Springfield Soup Kitchen\, and The Clark County Medical Reserve Corps\, nominated by the Clark County Health Department. \nVolunteer efforts are very important to our society and should not go unnoticed. The National Exchange Club’s longest running project\, the Book of Golden Deeds Award\, recognizes dedicated volunteers who give endless hours of their time and talents toward making their communities better places to live. Ever since the Exchange Club of Huntington\, Ind.\, sponsored the first award in 1919\, thousands of unsung heroes and heroines have been recognized.  The Book of Golden Deeds Award exemplifies The National Exchange Club’s beliefs.

Plan now to help out on 1 March\, 5 April\, and 10 May either in the morning or afternoon.

SUMMARY:Book of Golden Deeds Awards Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The Exchange Club of Springfield\, Ohio will present its annual Book of Golden Deeds Award on April 5\, 2022 in the Alumni Room of the Benham-Pence Student Center on the campus of Wittenberg University\, 6PM. \nVolunteer efforts are very important to our society and should not go unnoticed. The National Exchange Club’s longest running project\, the Book of Golden Deeds Award\, recognizes dedicated volunteers who give endless hours of their time and talents toward making their communities better places to live. Ever since the Exchange Club of Huntington\, Ind.\, sponsored the first award in 1919\, thousands of unsung heroes and heroines have been recognized. \nHonoring a fellow citizen with the Book of Golden Deeds Award is a heartwarming and inspiring act not only for the honoree\, but for any Exchange Club. The Book of Golden Deeds Award exemplifies The National Exchange Club’s beliefs.
