Diabetes Dayton has been sending children to summer camp since 1963\, with the goal of providing a fun and safe outdoor experience to children living with type 1 diabetes. Camp Ko-Man-She is a summer camp for 7-18 year-olds living with type 1 diabetes. The camp is held annually at the YMCA Camp Willson Outdoor Recreation Center\, which is located just outside of Bellefontaine.

DESCRIPTION:The Exchange Club of Springfield will present the Proudly We Hail project at the Noon meeting on Tuesday April 28\, 2020. \nNo symbol better signifies our nation’s greatness than our American flag—the Stars and Stripes. The Proudly We Hail program encourages regular display of the flag by individuals\, commercial establishments and industries. To honor them a specially designed plaque is presented at a club meeting. Every club member can participate in the program because it is the individual member who watches for and nominates potential recipients. This proven program not only rewards outstanding young people\, but also provides an incentive for other youngsters to strive for equally high levels of achievement. \nA National Exchange Club Program since 1992\,  the Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Program recognizes high school students who have made a dramatic change in their attitude and performance during their high school years or have overcome other serious physical or emotional adversities during their high school years.
